I’ve seen the gaps and overcame massive challenges. I’ve made mistakes and also built legacies. Now, as a real estate consultant, I help driven people like you, tackle problems posed by this tough space - with ease.

My career started as an architect designing commercial corporate tenant improvements, high-end residential units, and an iconic Chicago high-rise, 77 W. Wacker Drive. Invited to join a premier real estate developer, I got to work with some top talent in Chicago and learned a myriad of project management skills. After developing office buildings here and nationally, I took the leap to start my own development firm and constructed a legacy of nearly 400 single-family homes across 7 Chicago neighborhoods before the mortgage crisis left me without a business and income leading me back into architecture where I managed The Abu Dhabi Golf Club Resort Hotel project.

Back in the states, I returned to real estate and worked with commercial brokers and clients supporting them with tenant improvement projects, ground-up office projects, lease negotiations, and took responsibility for managing two of the most significant commercial legacies in the City; Google Midwest headquarters, which began the revitalization of the Fulton Market area and McDonald’s Global headquarters, which represented one of the largest corporations to relocate from a suburban campus to the City!

As a Development Director, I was responsible for the overall project completion and business plan success for two more City legacies of residential high-rises - Southbank on the Chicago River (the home of The Cooper and The Reed), and Lakeshore East on the lakefront (the home of Cirrus and Cascade towers).

I use the perfect combination of my skills, experience, and technical know-how of four key domains to creatively solve your complex real estate challenges.

My hobbies! I’m an artist, a cyclist, a musician, a chef, and an endurance sports enthusiast.

My travels! Swimming with the humpback whales off the Silver Bank in the Dominican Republic and gorilla trekking in the mountains of Rowanda.

Proudest moments in life?

  • Completing a half Ironman race (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and a 13.2-mile run) 

  • Cycling from San Francisco to Los Angeles (545 miles over 7 days for Aids LifeCycle)

  • Winning a Merit Award from the Illinois Watercolor Society

My son Tyler, daughter Marissa and my grandson, Ryder
